Last updated: June 3, 2026
What Apollo collects
Apollo collects the information needed to run a passwordless exam-prep workspace and keep learner data attached to the right account.
- Account information such as email address, name, username, sign-in provider identifiers, and login timestamps.
- Profile information such as country, education programs, selected subjects, language preferences, explanation style, and study goals.
- Learning activity such as practice attempts, answers, marks, mistake patterns, generated tests, Yearlies results, memories, calendar or scheduler entries, and resource view state.
- Content you provide, including uploaded PDFs, images, scans, chat messages, OCR text, and files you ask Apollo to process.
- Technical and security information such as IP-derived request identifiers, device or browser signals, logs, rate-limit records, and diagnostic events.
How Apollo uses data
- To authenticate users and maintain student-owned workspaces.
- To deliver tutoring, marking, OCR, test generation, Yearlies, resource viewing, scheduler, memory, and progress features.
- To route requests to AI, storage, database, hosting, analytics, and security providers that support the product.
- To prevent abuse, debug incidents, measure reliability, improve product quality, and comply with legal or safety obligations.
AI and service providers
Apollo uses providers such as Supabase, Vercel, OpenRouter, Google sign-in, and optional analytics providers to operate the service. Prompts, uploads, answers, and generated output may be processed by AI providers when you use AI-powered features. Apollo does not sell personal information or use learner content for advertising profiles.
Children and students
Apollo is designed for exam learners and is not intended for children under 13 unless use is authorized by a parent, guardian, or school arrangement that can provide the required consent. If you believe a child under 13 used Apollo without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and delete the account data when required.
Cookies and analytics
Apollo uses necessary cookies and similar storage for authentication, session security, and product operation. Optional analytics may be enabled to understand page usage and reliability. Apollo does not rely on third-party advertising cookies.
Retention and security
Apollo keeps account, learning, upload, and usage records for as long as needed to provide the service, protect the platform, satisfy legal obligations, or resolve disputes. We use access controls, rate limits, protected storage, and deployment safeguards, but no internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Some security logs, backup records, or records needed for legal obligations may be retained for a limited period. To make a request, email us from the address connected to your Apollo account.
